    This art connects to a religion with its traditions and influences at the crossroads between African beliefs and Christianity. As such, the prevalent, if only partly recognized Haitian belief. Many artists relate and express themselves in relation to Voodoo. Some of them, such as famous and distinctive Stivenson Magloire, only painted voodoo themes.
